VOX switch (Voice Activate) your favorite radio in quiet or extremely high noise level areas.

The VOX switch is fully automatic, adjusting itself to the most optimum setting to assure the operator equal ease of operation in quiet (70 dBC) or noisy areas (to 120 dBC) or more. Hearing protector offers isolation from surrounding sounds.

• Battery life is an economical 200 hrs. with 3 'AAA' alkaline cells.
• May also usePTT in extreme noise environments
• LED low battery indictor provides battery status.
• The headset also provides the operator with a very useful Sidetone which tells the user immediately whether they are transmitting or not.
• Use in respirator mask applications when fitted with a high noise rejecting throat microphone, instead of a boom microphone.

4 - External microphone automatically adjusts VOX setting, according to the noise level.
