Rescom® Modular™ headsets are intrinsically safe when
used with any Rescom Modular system. Several different styles
of headsets are available to suit the user's application. Each
headset comes with an interface box (DMI or DSI) that connects
the user's headset to the rest of the system.
Standard Entrant headsets are
lightweight and low profile in design so as to accomodate all
styles of helmets, as well as provide comfort. Throat microphones
are hardwired into the ear cup on all SW12/T, SW13/T, SW14/T (available
with throat mic connector as an option). For team Supervisors
there are both lightweight and noise attenuating models to choose
from.
SW13/T - Low profile dual sided watertight headset used with rescue
helmet and SCBA mask.
S10 For Team Supervisors who are not working
in a high noise area, we suggest the light weight headband
mounted DMI-S10 Headset and Interface module with boom
mic. Also comes with a
removable headstrap for wearing under a helmet.
S11 For Team Supervisors, or Entrants, working
in high noise areas, we recommend the standard dual sided,
behind the head mounted, noise
attenuating headset with high
noise cancelling boom mic.

SW12/T For Entrants we recommend the standard
lightweight low profile single sided headset with electret
noise cancelling throat microphone.
